Proverbs, Chapter 10

10:1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father; But a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; But righteousness delivers from death.

10:3 Yahweh will not allow the soul of the righteous to famish; But he thrusts away the desire of the wicked.

10:4 He becomes poor who works with a slack hand; But the hand of the diligent makes rich.

10:5 He who gathers in summer is a wise son; [but] he who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

10:6 Blessings are on the head of the righteous; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

10:7 The memory of the righteous is blessed; But the name of the wicked will rot.

10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments; But a prating fool will fall.

10:9 He who walks uprightly walks surely; But he who perverts his ways will be known.

10:10 He who winks with the eye causes sorrow; But a prating fool will fall.

10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

10:12 Hatred stirs up strifes; But love covers all transgressions.

10:13 In the lips of him who has discernment wisdom is found; But a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding.

10:14 Wise men lay up knowledge; But the mouth of the foolish is a present destruction.

10:15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city: The destruction of the poor is their poverty.

10:16 The labor of the righteous, to life; The increase of the wicked, to sin.

10:17 He is in the way to life who heeds correction; But he who forsakes reproof errs.

10:18 He who hides hatred is of lying lips; And he who utters a slander is a fool.

10:19 In the multitude of words transgression does not cease; But he who refrains his lips does wisely.

10:20 The tongue of the righteous is [as] choice silver: The heart of the wicked is worth little.

10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many; But the foolish die for lack of understanding.

10:22 The blessing of Yahweh, it makes rich; And he adds no sorrow with it.

10:23 It is as sport to a fool to do wickedness; And [so is] wisdom to a man of understanding.

10:24 The fear of the wicked, it will come upon him; And the desire of the righteous will be granted.

10:25 When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more; But the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

10:26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, So is the sluggard to those who send him.

10:27 The fear of Yahweh prolongs days; But the years of the wicked will be shortened.

10:28 The hope of the righteous [will be] gladness; But the expectation of the wicked will perish.

10:29 The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright; But it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.

10:30 The righteous will never be removed; But the wicked will not stay in the land.

10:31 The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom; But the perverse tongue will be cut off.

10:32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable; But the mouth of the wicked [speaks] perverseness.

Jesus, Lord, I ask for mercy. Let me not implore in vain. All my sins I now detest them. I will never sin again.  By your grace and mercy I will keep myself pure until the second coming of the Lord Jesus.  We are waiting for His return sooner of later He will be here.  In the lips of him who has discernment wisdom is found.  Proverbs 10.13a  What people hear from our lips will be kept in thieir hearts and we want them to hear Gods call to repentance and salvation of their souls.  Save them all we pray in Jesus name. Amen

This world is not my home, we are strangers and pilgrims on this earth and we are tempted by the flesh, the worlds goods and the devil himself to make us fall and to turn away from God. Set your heart and your mind towards heaven. Our eternal home is waiting for all of us. Even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For Thou art with me. This is our blessed hope in this life and the life over yonder. Proverbs 10.14a Wise men lay up knowledge. Keep reading Gods word, praying for others, meditating on the Gospels and the life of Jesus and you will grow up to be very close to Gods heart. It is such a blessing to do just that.

Whom have I in heaven but You?   This is the question the Psalmist was asking all the time.  And besides you I desire nothing on earth.   This should be our desire every single day.  To serve Him with all our heart and to help souls find the way to heaven.  The mouth of the righteous brings wisdom  10.31a

Scriptural hope is not wishful thinking, it is rock hard belief in the eternal and  the home wher we are gona be right after we die. There is no cheap, or lazy or magical way to understand the Bible.  Jesus told us.  Ask and ye shall receive.  Let us all ask God to open our minds and our hearts to understand His word and apply into our daily lives. Proverbs 10.3a  Yahwey will not allow the righteous to famish.  This wonderful promise is for each one of us who love Jesus.  He will not allow you to go hungry or homeless.  If you do, then probably you have sinned against God and He is trying to lure you to His side again.
