Proverbs, Chapter 10

10:1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father; But a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; But righteousness delivers from death.

10:3 Yahweh will not allow the soul of the righteous to famish; But he thrusts away the desire of the wicked.

10:4 He becomes poor who works with a slack hand; But the hand of the diligent makes rich.

10:5 He who gathers in summer is a wise son; [but] he who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

10:6 Blessings are on the head of the righteous; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

10:7 The memory of the righteous is blessed; But the name of the wicked will rot.

10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments; But a prating fool will fall.

10:9 He who walks uprightly walks surely; But he who perverts his ways will be known.

10:10 He who winks with the eye causes sorrow; But a prating fool will fall.

10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

10:12 Hatred stirs up strifes; But love covers all transgressions.

10:13 In the lips of him who has discernment wisdom is found; But a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding.

10:14 Wise men lay up knowledge; But the mouth of the foolish is a present destruction.

10:15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city: The destruction of the poor is their poverty.

10:16 The labor of the righteous, to life; The increase of the wicked, to sin.

10:17 He is in the way to life who heeds correction; But he who forsakes reproof errs.

10:18 He who hides hatred is of lying lips; And he who utters a slander is a fool.

10:19 In the multitude of words transgression does not cease; But he who refrains his lips does wisely.

10:20 The tongue of the righteous is [as] choice silver: The heart of the wicked is worth little.

10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many; But the foolish die for lack of understanding.

10:22 The blessing of Yahweh, it makes rich; And he adds no sorrow with it.

10:23 It is as sport to a fool to do wickedness; And [so is] wisdom to a man of understanding.

10:24 The fear of the wicked, it will come upon him; And the desire of the righteous will be granted.

10:25 When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more; But the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

10:26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, So is the sluggard to those who send him.

10:27 The fear of Yahweh prolongs days; But the years of the wicked will be shortened.

10:28 The hope of the righteous [will be] gladness; But the expectation of the wicked will perish.

10:29 The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright; But it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.

10:30 The righteous will never be removed; But the wicked will not stay in the land.

10:31 The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom; But the perverse tongue will be cut off.

10:32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable; But the mouth of the wicked [speaks] perverseness.

Jesus, my Lord and my God. I worship you and we praise your name for what you have done for us. Thank you for your word that is engraving in our hearts and souls. Blessings are in the head of the righteous. 10.6 This promise we keep it in our hearts and souls today and forever. You wait day and night to be our confort, but we do not let you in our hearts.  Remove all the hatred, all the evil that is surrounding all of us. Keep us holy and pure in your sight.  Jesus, my God and my Lord. I adore and worship you now and forever more. Amen

If we have sinned then we must repent. God is a holy God who will not allow anything that is against His word. I love you Oh lord my God. Forgive me all of my sins. I come to you ready to answer your call. The labor of the rightous, to life. Let oh lord my labor be for your glory and my words to always praise your holy name. I promise to serve you and help those who need most. The hungry, the homeless, the sick the encarcerated. To visit them and help for in doing that, we are doing it for you. Amen

I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34.1 May this verse be all true in our lives.  To honor and praise our maker. We do not come from monkeys nor the earth has been created by a big bang. It is God who did it. And we should be all proud to be the chidlren of the almighty God. Oh lord, you are my protector and mine strenght. From the dephts of my soul I cry ouf for your help and guidance. Only you are the light in my darkness. When anxiety and depression sets in...then I must run to the shelter of our God. He is the rock in which we must stand. The memory of the righteous is blessed. 10.7 May the memory of those who seve you in prayer, in suplication, in mission work and in distributing tracts to unbelievers be blessed. You, lord Jesus, never judge me, nor let me down when I am lost and confused. When I fall your hand reach down where I am amd you lift me up.  What a wonderful saviour we have. Let us all praise His name. forever more. Amen

How true, with our mouths we sin, hurt each other and get ourselves into a lot of trouble, the word of God is a clear guide how to live and receive the blessings of the Lord, proverbs is a book full of advise and instructions on how we should live and conduct ourselves, thank you Jesus.

So we may know God better when we study His word and apply it to our own lives.  And feel His quiet presence in our lives. Down deep in our souls God is speaking. While we sleep, while we cook, while at the office..God is talking to us. Let us keep His presence daily in silence before we go to work, to the supermarket or even to hair salon. Let God speak to our hearts.  For to understand Gods greatness and mercy we need to be in comunion with Him. To lead us, to guide our steps. Our pilgrim ways in this world will be transformed into a blessing to all who surround us. They will certainly feel Gods presence in our lives because Jesus lives in our hearts. 10.13  In the lips of him who has discernment, wisdom is found.  Lord Jesus, allow me to have wisdom from on High. To be all you want me to be. To say all you want me to say and to live a life that pleases you. In Jesus name. Amen

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His word, what a glory He sheds on our way. While we do His good will, He abides with us still. And with all who will trust and obey. Lord Jesus, I want to obey your word, even though it hard to see people who have hardened harts and do not believe the truth of your word. Please Jesus save them all. We know that your coming is near and the signs we see in the world tell us the return of Jesus. Guide our lives we pray, help us when we fall and strenghten our hearts when we are weak. Prov. 10.6  Blessings are on the head of the righteous. Bless us oh Lord in our services and save souls that come to hear your word. All temptations and all sin take away from us all and lead us all to the way of heaven. This we pray in Jesus name. Amen

God spoke to me this morning saying... My grace is sufficient for you, for power is pèrfected in weakness. 2 Cor. 12.9  What a wonderful thought for today. If we just open our minds to hear what God is saying He will minister to all of us in a great and might way.  In my afliction my faith wavered, I was not able to sleep as I should have but Jesus was right there to talk to me and tell me that He loves me so much and that even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death. He will be with me.  Thank you Jesus for the assurance you have given me. All the weight that was on my back is gone and now I feel such a wonderful peace down deep in my soul that I am starting to read Proverbs.  10.3  Yahweh will not allow the soul of the righteous to famish.  Pesecution can come, Rejection will always be around. Indifernce also comes along and loneliness seems to be with us. But Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. Remember. You are not alone. God is always with you. Looking like a father who tenderly and lovingly reaches his hand to help you when you are down and no one seems to help.
