My ex-husband is not part of my life and I need protection from him and his terrible choice of friends. I've helped him quite a bit and I'm praying I can move forward from this cycle of yo-yoing he constantly does.

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing with your ex-husband. It is important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony given at the proper time. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
In regards to your situation, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5 WEB.
It is clear that your ex-husband is not living in a way that honors God, and it is important for you to separate yourself from his harmful influence and those of his companions. Do not be deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB.
We also want to address that it is not God's will for you to be in a cycle of yo-yoing with your ex-husband. God wants you to be free from emotional bondage and to live a life of peace and joy. The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed. Luke 4:18 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in need of your protection and guidance. Lord, you know the struggles she is facing with her ex-husband and the harmful influences that surround him. We ask that you would surround her with your angels and keep her safe from all harm.
We also ask that you would give her the strength and wisdom to break free from the cycle of yo-yoing and to move forward in her life. Help her to trust in you and to lean on your understanding, knowing that you have a plan and a purpose for her life.
We pray for her ex-husband, that you would convict his heart and bring him to repentance. We ask that you would surround him with godly influences and bring him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
