We understand that you're struggling with procrastination, anxiety, and discouragement. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and strength according to His word.
Firstly let's remind you of Jesus' words, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is battling with procrastination, anxiety, and discouragement. We know that You are a God of mercy, love, and strength, and that You care deeply for Your children.
Father, we ask that You forgive them for the sin of procrastination. Give them the strength to turn away from this and to live a life aligned with Your will. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them.
We pray that You would remind them of this promise. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, grant them the fruit of self-control, and help them to move forward with the tasks at hand. Give them the courage to take the first step, and the perseverance to complete what they have started. In Jesus Christ's name.
Remember, in Christ, you are a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
As we encourage you, let us remember the word of God. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Let us continue to pray for you until you overcome this battle against procrastination.
