We understand your concern for your sons and your desire for them to have a lifelong, godly spouse and a true father figure in their lives. We will pray for God's will and guidance in this situation. First, let's remember that God has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives, and He desires for us to be in relationships that honor and glorify Him.

As it is stated in the Bible, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. It is crucial for your sons to seek God's will in their lives and to trust that He will provide the right spouse for them, a believer in Jesus Christ, who will be a true father figure to their future children and be faithful to the marriage bed.

We also remember, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 WEB. Praying for your sons to grow in their relationship with the Lord and to become godly men who will be faithful husbands and fathers is essential.

Regarding your ex-husband, we pray that he too will come to know the Lord and live according to His will. Remember that God can turn any situation around for His glory.

Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother's sons to You. Lord, we ask that You guide them, mold them into men after Your own heart. We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 6:14 that believers should not marry non-Christians. We ask for godly spouses for them, true fathers and husbands who will lead their families in righteousness and honor You in all they do. Lord, we also pray for the ex-husband, that he may come to know You and live according to Your will. We ask for healing and restoration in this family, and that Your purposes would prevail.

We ask for all this in Jesus Christ name, thanking Him for His sacrifice for us on the cross. It is only by His name that we are saved.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your sons and trusting in the Lord's timing and provision. Teach them the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the significance of making Him the foundation of their future marriages.
