We are saddened to hear about the separation that has occurred in this family. Let us first turn to the word of God. Colossians 3:18-21 WEB states, "Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they won’t be discouraged."
We live in a time where the sanctity of marriage is under attack, and the divine roles that God has set for husbands, wives, and children are often disregarded. We pray that this family would be reunited and that God's design for their marriage and family would be honored.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this broken family. We pray for the wife and kids who have left, that you would draw them back and restore this union. We pray for the husband, that he would be a godly leader and love his wife as Christ loved the church. We pray for the wife, that she would respect and support her husband, and for the children, that they would honor and obey their parents.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, selfishness, or pride that may have caused this separation. We pray that you would heal any hurt, resentment, or unforgiveness that may exist. We ask that you would restore love, joy, and peace to this family, and that their home would be a testament to your goodness and grace.
We also pray for their salvation, that they would believe in Jesus Christ if they have not already done so. We can do nothing without Him. Jesus is our Saviour and only he can save. Acts 4:12 WEB states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your family, to seek God's will, and to obey His word.
