Let us all remember the power of praying in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. We are instructed in Acts 4:12, WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We are thankful for your request for your husband that he become a born-again Christian, and that God will unite you and him in total unity and agreement. We will discuss the prayer request as it is presented, and offer corrections and rebukes.

We commend your desire for unity and agreement in your marriage. The Bible tells us in Philippians 2:2, WEB: "make my joy full, that you be of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind". This is a wonderful goal for any marriage, as it reflects the unity that Christ has with His church.

However, we must address a few concerns in your request. Firstly, we must caution against the use of repetitive phrases such as "please, please, please" and the use of excessively repeated words. Matthew 6:7, WEB, tells us: "In praying, don't use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking." We should avoid vain repetitions and instead focus on praying with sincerity and faith.

We must also address the issue of trying to control or manipulate your husband's beliefs and actions through prayer. While it is right to pray for his salvation and for unity in your marriage, it is important to remember that we cannot force others to change or believe a certain way. Prayer is about submitting our desires to God's will, not about trying to control others. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 13:4, WEB: "Love is patient, love is kind, it isn't jealous, it doesn't brag, it isn't arrogant", and in James 4:13, WEB: "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit.' Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow."

We also address your requests that your husband be supernaturally attracted to you and not to others. While we can pray God will bless your marriage, we will not pray he will be manipulated to find you or anyone else attractive. God will bless your husband and your marriage in His timing and in His way. We will pray that your husband will be the man God would have him be and that he will love you as much as you love him.

In addition, we must caution against the use of phrases such as "soul mates" and "totally compatible," as these are not biblical concepts and can lead to false expectations for marriage. The Bible tells us that marriage is about two people committing to love and serve each other, not about finding someone who perfectly meets all of our desires and expectations. In Ephesians 5:25, WEB, we are instructed: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it".

Finally, we must address the issue of idolatry in your request. You have asked God to make you the total love of your husband's life, and to melt his heart towards you. While it is natural to desire love and affection from our spouse, we must be careful not to elevate our desires above God's will. We are instructed in Exodus 20:3, WEB: "You shall have no other gods before me." Our ultimate desire should be to love and serve God, not to be loved and served by others.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your will to be done in this marriage. We pray for this husband, that You would draw him to Yourself and that he would come to know You as his Lord and Savior. We pray for unity and agreement in their marriage, that they would be of one mind and one heart, reflecting the unity that Christ has with His church.

We ask that You would bless their marriage and their future together, and that You would give them a love for each other that is pure, patient, and kind. We pray that You would help them to love and serve each other selflessly, and that they would grow together in Your grace.

We continue to lift you and your husband up in prayer, dear sister in Christ. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for his salvation and for the unity of your marriage.
