We understand your desire for a successful medical procedure and a blessed marriage. Let's bring your requests before the Lord in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement and guidance.
Firstly, we commend you on asking in the name of Jesus Christ (IJN). It is only by His name that can be saved. It is also by His name we receive our petitions from God.
Let's pray for your upcoming appointment and the desires of your heart:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in (IJC), lifting up Your child and her requests. Lord, guide the hands of the surgeon tomorrow, and grant a successful appointment with all the desired outcomes. We pray for complete healing and restoration, trusting in Your power and goodness.
Father, we also pray for unity and agreement. Marriage is a cord of three strands, the husband, wife, and You, Lord. Please bring unity and agreement in the marriage. In the marriage both spouses should submit to each other out of a healthy reverence for You, Lord.
Ephesians 5:21 WEB "submitting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ"
Father, we pray for a closer, stronger, and deeper marriage. We pray for a marriage that flourishes in every way and be a true testament to Your love and grace. Let it be a marriage that honors You in its love, passion, and a closer walk with You. Let them love each other, but love you more than each other.
Please Lord, guide them and make them both and their marriage more like You.
We ask all this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Regarding your husband being a born again Christian, we encourage you to share the Gospel with him and pray for his salvation.
We rejoice with you in your faith in Jesus Christ and in your desire to lift Him up.
Remember the words of the Apostle Paul:
Romans 10:9 WEB because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Continue to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in His resurrection, and share this good news with your husband.
Lastly, we want to address the focus on physical beauty and attraction. While it's natural to desire to look and feel our best, it's crucial to remember that true beauty comes from within, from a gentle and quiet spirit that is precious to God.
1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."
We encourage you to cultivate this inner beauty and to pursue a closer walk with the Lord, both individually and as a couple.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, please bless this marriage, their relationship, and relationships with You in every way. Give them the grace to live their lives in a way that honors You and completely satisfies them.
