I call them what accurately applies to them.Just like I call you an ostrich for pretending it's not so.

Mathew 5:22 But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, β€˜Raca,’ shall be in danger of the council; but whosoever shall say, β€˜Thou fool,’ shall be in danger of hell fire.

There are many places in the Bible that speaks of being careful not to call others names Steven. I don't pretend like anything doesn't happen Steven. Because I fear God and do His instructions the best I can I'm able to see things a lot more clearly. I don't understand why you would want to call me or anyone that fears God an ostrich or any names. I can say Lord forgive Steven for he knows not what he does but Jesus is the only One that can forgive us of all of our sins. Jesus is the only One that can stop curses from coming after us and cause blessings to overtake us. If we don't understand His instructions we can ask for His understanding.

Angry with his brother WITHOUT A CAUSE.Siding with people who are wronging me,always prodding me,,I hardly call, that without a cause. Also, I get the impression you think I'm exaagerating or making things up when I post I'm going through a certain situation. And if I'm the one who's going through it , andyou're not there with me, how could you assume that? It's almost like I feel you're being dismissive with me, like"What problem? This guys imagining things again."

Lol, go ahead and call people names, make your claims about others and let me know if God's Word isn't truth and you don't become what you claim them to be :)

Thank You, Praise You Lord Jesus for Steven Bobb! Don't worry Steven, I forgive you but does Jesus forgive you?

No I don't become what I claim them to be, because for example when I call someone a deadbeat for not paying back, and I check my credit report,it bears out that all my payments are on time. And read what I added to the post.

Sorry Steven, I didn't see what you added to your post. It's really not your fault that you don't understand what I'm sharing with you but you are still subject to it for there is no respect of people with God. Others can see you as and call you a deadbeat just because you weren't on time when you said you would be there.

Have you ever read the book of Hosea in the Bible? Maybe read that and then tell me God doesn't have complete control over your entire life.

The interesting thing about Christians is, they feel they're not allowed to utter a peep about an unsaved person doing something,{even if it's accurate},but if another Christian does something they see as "off the mark", all of a sudden they"find their tongue," and come down more heavily on the other Christian than they ever would on the misdeeds of the unsaved person.Like with each other we can say things, we're only supposed to "hold our tongue" when an unsaved person does something wrong to us.

Okay, I don't know your situation but something came to mind and you can apply it if the situation fits and if not then ignore. Before that I noticed something regarding money. You gave someone money and then they didn't pay you back? Next time someone asks you for money tell them you're not the bank. It seems that some people see you as an easy mark and that is why you are targeted.

The real problem here is boundaries. When people realize you have strong boundaries they will respect you for that and won't be so pushy and demanding of your time and money.

The other thing I thought of to suggest is what is your motive behind helping people? Do you do it because you want to and not expect anything back or are you doing it because you think you have to, because you should do it, or because you are trying to present some kind of public image? I knew a person a long time ago when I was a single parent that picked me up for a ride to a Church event. She never had to pick me up but she offered to. And I am not a user. I am independent and don't like to ask for help. Anyways, she did not treat me very well and acted like I was beneath her for some reason. I was already married and divorced with a child in my early twenties and she was never married or had any children but yet because I was a single parent and without transport I was somehow inferior in her eyes. Not like I didn't pick up on her attitude of superiority and her wrong motive. She wasn't fooling me one bit. I'd rather do without than have someone help me or give to me if they really didn't want to and were doing so under obligation. Are you helping for the right reasons? If so then why the resentment? Maybe just examine yourself and your motives. If your motives are pure then work on your boundaries and using the simple word, no. You'd be surprised how such a little word makes a difference. People respect people with boundaries.

Where did you get that from? God is not a respector of persons. There is no partiality with God. You are free to confront all you want. No one is stopping you. But, isn't it better if you stop it before it gets to that point? If you're going to give then give without expecting anything in return. If you can't do that then set boundaries and don't be so free with your time and money if it bothers you that much. Is all this worth the resentment and bitterness?
