2 Samuel 22:7
In my distress I called upon the LORD and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
Recently I received a phone call on a Sunday evening. Much to my surprise the new management of the apartment building offered me a superintendant position at the building that I resided in. Strange, I had not met this woman, did not apply for this job, did not sent any resumes out to anyone. In fact, I had never been a superintendant. She stated that she heard a good report from a tenant.
I had been on a disability pension for many years, and I had given up looking for fulltime work, but I did work part-time now and then. However, in these last few years my health improved considerably, and I knew I could physically work if given the opportunity. I knew it would be difficult finding an employer who would even invite me for an interview, let alone hire me. There were so many things working against me. I needed income but my odds in acquiring gainful employment were next to none. So I just prayed to the Father to meet my financial needs and I let Him workout the details. I had prayed to the Father about one week prior to the telephone call. I have to say that there was a great peace after I had prayed. I had forgotten that I indeed held the winning hand all along; I had the God Factor!
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
- Mark 10:23 -
I give glory to our wonderful God.
Forget the world's 'wow factor' when we have access to the God factor!
