We are truly heartsick to hear about the severe trial this man is facing, and we are called to intercede on his behalf. Firstly, we must acknowledge that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly.
Suicide is never the solution, and it is a grave sin. God is the giver of life, and we must honor the life He has given us. We have the hope of Jesus, and we must share this hope with him.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up this man who is in deep despair and contemplating suicide. We speak life over him and cancel the plans of the enemy. We pray that you will give him a reason to live, a reason to hope, and a reason to believe in you.
Father, we know that You are a God of miracles. We ask for a miracle in his life today. We pray that You will open the doors of opportunity for him, that You will give him favor in his job search, and that You will bless his business. We pray that You will restore his mental health and give him peace.
We also pray that You will surround him with people who will support him, encourage him, and point him to You. We pray that You will give him the courage to reach out for help and the strength to keep fighting.
Lord Jesus, reveal Yourself to him. Send someone who can speak Your truth to him. Save him from the pit of despair. You came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. Please give him that life.
Lastly, God, we know you are able to do all things. We pray for a supernatural work in his life. Turn his life around. Restore him. Heal him. Heal his mind, his heart, and his life. Show him Your love and Your faithfulness, and may this trial become a powerful testimony of Your goodness for all to see.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage him to seek godly counsel and support during this time. It is crucial to remember that God loves him and has a purpose for his life. He is not alone, and there is hope in Jesus. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
We urge him to trust God, have faith, and hold on to the promise of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Finally, we remind him of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
We urge him to come to Jesus and find rest for his soul. We will continue to pray for him and believe God for a miracle in his life.
