We understand that you are facing a trying situation, with concerns about your son's education, financial struggles, car troubles, and health issues. Firstly, we want to remind you that our help comes from the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. It is so important that you called on the name of Jesus Christ, as this is the way to have access to God. The Bible is very clear on this. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times 1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB.
Let's bring your concerns before the Lord in prayer and then provide some biblical encouragement and advice.
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, we pray for their son, that You would give him wisdom and understanding in his studies. Guide him as he prepares for his tests, and help him to do well. Be a shield around him and protect him from stress at school.
Lord, we also pray for their car troubles. We ask that You would guide the mechanics and give them integrity in their work. Protect this family from being taken advantage of, and provide the finances needed to fix the car. Help them to trust in You for their transportation needs, and let the car pass inspection.
Father, we also lift up their financial struggles. We ask that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to manage their finances wisely and to trust in You for provision. We pray that You would grant them a credit increase if it is Your will, and guide them in using it responsibly.
Lord, we also pray for the health of this family, particularly the individuals who have to walk to work. We ask that You would heal them, strengthen them, and give them the energy they need to face each day. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, because You care for them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In the midst of these trials, remember that God cares for you and that He promised to wrong no one, to put no one off, to do nothing unkind to anyone. 2 Cor 8:21, WEB.
The Bible also tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Regarding finances, the Bible encourages us to be wise stewards of our resources. Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.(Romans 13:8 WEB). Also, Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.(Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
Lastly, consider the following verses as encouragement:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don't lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
(Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you.
He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
(Psalm 55:22 WEB).
Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.(1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Stand firm in your faith and remember to live a life honoring God.
