We understand your concerns and are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for including Jesus in your prayer. It is only by His name that we have access to God and it is also only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Let's address your concerns one by one. Regarding your child's computer use, it's important to set boundaries and encourage healthy habits. Remember, Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. (Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB)
It is good to reinforce these habits and principles with your child, encouraging them to obey and honor you as their parent as you follow God's word. As this happens, we have confidence that your child will learn to manage their time wisely and honor God in their daily routines.
As for your car inspection, God cares about every detail of our lives, including such practical matters. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB) Remember to approach God's throne with confidence and trust God's will in the matter.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family. Lord, we pray for their child, that they would learn to manage their time wisely and honor their parents in the process. We also bring before You their car inspection. We pray that if it is Your will, the car would pass inspection and any needed repairs would be affordable.
Help them to trust in You, casting all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. Give them Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
