We join you in lifting up your son and your current circumstances to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. We are reminded of 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved son to You. Lord, we ask that You grant him a sound mind and calm spirit as he takes his SATs today. Give him the ability to focus and bring to remembrance all that he has studied. We pray that You grant him a good night's sleep before his exam and that he be at his best during this test.
Father, we also ask for Your protection over him as he stays at school. Surround him with Your angels and grant him peace and reassurance as he waits.
Lord, we commit our car into Your hands. We pray for the mechanics working on it, that they would be honest, skilled, and respectful. We ask that the repairs be done right the first time and that the costs remain as quoted. We also pray for the safety of our car where it is, and for the credit card to work properly, trusting that You are our provider and that You care for our every need.
Father, we take this opportunity to thank You that we have access to you through the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and also it is only by his name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that our God is faithful and that He cares for you and your family in every detail of your lives. Remember Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Trust that God is working in your circumstances, and that He has a plan and a purpose for it all. 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
