I don't know about that. I have believed Jesus when He gives me promises in His Word and I have been in the wilderness with creatures that were in front of or beside me and I spoke to the creatures and told them according to Jesus we are at peace with each other. I was in a field at night once walking and a cow bull stood up in front of me and breathed on my face and I just stood there even wondering what it was for a second. I used to go treasure hunting so I have been in some pretty bizarre places that you wouldn't want to go without Jesus. You know the Bible says if we search for God like we are looking for a lost treasure that we will find Him? Well I found Him and I didn't actually find Him on my own, He revealed Himself while I searched for Him in His written Word which I have at times called a treasure map to the greatest treasure of All. God's Word, Jesus is treasure beyond compression for I am at peace with All the creatures, no weapon formed against me can prosper, no weapon used against me can prosper as formed also means used, we are extra ordinary people when we live in the light of Jesus without fear of anything but Jesus and ready to sing praises to the One that fights our battles. I have lived in some of the things that we read about in the Bible. If we live our lives in the pages of Jesus, we would all be oh so very blessed my friend

But still, what about the Christians who got killed by the lions when Nero had them thrown to them? Obviously they had faith because they wouldn't have chose martyrdom over renouncing their faith.

I'm sorry, I don't know about them. Do you know if the entire written word was put together for them? Do you know if they read that while studying scripture with scripture and believed that the beasts of the field would be at peace with them from Jesus putting it on their hearts that it was for them? It is found in Job 5:23. Was it written there for them to know and believe? Some of our questions only Jesus can answer. I used to wonder why the prophet was killed by the lion that stopped to eat with the prophet that lied to him even though God told him not to eat until he got back after returning from a different way so I practiced doing that and not talking to anyone in the process which is very hard to do especially when going to a shopping center and dealing with a clerk, I had to point to my neck as if I couldn't talk. Sometimes we have to do in order to understand and test ourselves to see what we are capable of. Would you be able to do that? I believe I failed just in the talking part the first time I tried but I was just testing myself to see what I was capable of. Would I have been killed by the lion was my only question but now I know the beasts of the field are at peace with me through Jesus' righteousness, not mine so it doesn't matter if I fail, the beasts of the wilderness see Jesus in me and I know that. Oh the things we can do because Jesus is in us and we honor His Word! What Jesus might have for us to do could be very incredible to endure!

Sometimes we have to deal with people who in our own time we may not choose to. {Not just job related, either.} Like, my sister is into "works", believes she's a "better person" than those who, for their own reasons, might not be able at the time to just "jump to it" and service someone. {In other words, like most "works" believers, she's judgmental. {And self-righteous, if you don't think like her, you're "on a lower level"} Now, she's fooled most of the other relatives {including my mother} into thinking she's "the good one", and I'm "the bad guy." So here's the prayer request--since my mother is still alive, and I have to deal with my sister sometimes, wisdom on when she casts her little "judgment act" on me, {especially untrue judgments} even though I know these judgments are untrue and unfair, wisdom in dealing with this, and patience to make it through this "labeling" when dealing with her.

I did read it. I liked what ### said. I didn't have a reply. I wonder the same about my dad. I hope your dad was saved. It really doesn't matter what we think, there is going to come a place where we won't remember this life and we won't be sorrowful about those that didn't go to Heaven. Jesus is our Father now and He will always be there for us
