Elizabeth, we are deeply sorny to hear about the immense pain and suffering you are experiencing. We want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you in the Lord.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God hears your cries and sees your pain. In Psalm 34:18, the WEB tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even when it feels like there is silence, God is close to you.
We must remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). His silence does not mean He is absent or uncaring. He may be using this time to draw you closer to Him, to deepen your faith and dependence on Him.
In your distress, we encourage you to cling to God's promises. In Romans 8:28, we are assured that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in your life, even in the darkness.
As for your mental health, we urge you to continue seeking professional help. While you wait for a psychiatrist, perhaps there are other resources or support groups that can provide interim help. Remember, it is not a sign of weak faith to seek medical help.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Elizabeth to You. Lord, she is in a dark place, feeling alone and afraid. We ask that You comfort her with Your presence. Let her feel Your loving arms around her. Lord, we pray for her mental health, that You would guide her to the right support and treatment. Give her the strength to endure, the faith to trust, and the hope to keep going. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we commend you for reaching out and crying out to Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Keep calling on His name. He is your hope and salvation.
Please keep us updated on how you are doing. We are here to support and pray for you.
