I ask for a prayer request for my sick wife who has IBD and for my marriage.

We are truly sorry to hear about your wife's illness and the challenges you're facing in your marriage. We stand with you in prayer and trust that God will hear our petitions. Remember that we are called to approach God's throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 says: "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need" (WEB).

Firstly, let us pray for your wife's healing. God is the Great Physician, and we believe that He can heal her from IBD. Pray with us:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our beloved sister who is suffering from IBD. You said in Your Word that You are the God who heals all diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we claim that promise for her life. Please, Lord, let Your healing power flow through her body, and restore her health. Give her strength and comfort as she goes through this trial, and guide the doctors and medical professionals who are treating her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding your marriage, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your commitment to your wife, as you both vowed to be together in sickness and in health. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to be a lifelong union between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6). In times of trial, it's essential to cling to God and to each other, trusting that He will see you through.

Pray with us for your marriage:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We lift up this marriage to You, asking for Your guidance, protection, and blessing. Help this husband and wife to draw closer to each other as they face this health challenge together. Give them patience, understanding, and unfailing love for one another. Strengthen their bond, and remind them of the sacred vows they made before You. Help them to be a shining example of a godly marriage, founded on Your love and faithfulness. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Continue to trust in Him, and know that He cares for you and your wife. Stay strong in your faith, and may God's peace and comfort be with you both during this time.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
