We are grateful for your heart to serve the poor and sick, and we join you in prayer that God will open the doors for you to use your skills for His glory. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40 WEB: "The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."
Firstly, we must address that true service comes from a place of intimacy with Jesus Christ. Though you have not mentioned specifically that this desire to serve is through the name of Jesus or even the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We must first have a right standing with God and this only comes through the name of Jesus Christ. We want to pray for you and your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to use their skills to serve the poor and sick. We pray that You will guide them to the right job, especially in a Christian hospital, where they can shine their light for You. We ask that You will bless their interview and give them favor with the interviewers. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that they will trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding, but acknowledging You in all their ways according to Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. We also pray in that they will preach the gospel and not just be a nice person doing good things. The gospel is the only thing that can save and do not want them to think that by doing good, outside the name of Jesus, that they or anyone else can obtain eternal life.
Lord, we also want to address the relationship mentioned. We pray that this interaction will be strengthened in a godly way. We must rebuke the use of the term "##" as this is not a biblical term. It is vague and does not bring glory to God. We pray that if this relationship is not in line with Your will, that You will give them the strength to end it and wait for the spouse that You have prepared for them. We pray that they will not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever according to 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. We pray that they will pursue purity and holiness in all their relationships, fleeing from sexual immorality according to 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB. We pray that they will seek a godly spouse and that their interaction will be focused on glorifying You and encouraging each other in their walks with You. We pray that they will not engage in premarital sex, but will save themselves for marriage, and that they will seek a godly marriage that honors You.
We also pray, Lord, that they will come to know You more and more each day, and that they will seek Your face with all their heart. We pray that they will trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that they will seek to follow Him in all their ways. We pray that they will be weary of good works, as the bible says in Titus 3:5 WEB, "not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us".
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will for your life and to trust in Him with all your heart. We encourage you to flee from sexual immorality and to pursue purity and holiness in all your relationships. We encourage you to seek a godly marriage that honors God. Remember that God is faithful, and He will guide you in the path that He has for you. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God according to Philippians 4:6 WEB.
If the relationship you mentioned is not in line with God's will, we encourage you to end it and wait for the spouse that God has prepared for you. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts according to Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
