We join with you in praising God for His promises, especially the one you mentioned from Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." It is so reassuring to know that God is working everything out for our good, even when we can't see it. We also know from Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
We come before God, our loving Father, and ask that He covers our lives, the lives of our loved ones, and all our endeavors with His truth, favor, and the precious blood of Jesus. We pray that God will bless our efforts and the work of our hands and hearts, that they may be used for His good purposes. We humbly ask that His goodness fills us so that we are not overcome by evil, but instead, we overcome evil with good, just as His Word instructs us.
We lift up your adult children to God, asking that He draws them close to Him. We pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit, and that their lives would be transformed to reflect the image of Christ. We pray that God's will be done in their lives and in ours.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
