We join with you in praising God for His promises, especially the one you mentioned from Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." It is truly a comfort to know that God is working everything out for our good, even when we cannot see it.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You, lifting up our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We ask that You cover us with Your truth and favor, and that You bless the work of our hands and hearts. We plead the blood of Jesus over all we do and all we care for, trusting that Your goodness will fill us and enable us to overcome evil with good, as Your Word teaches us in Romans 12:21, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
Lord, we also bring before You our adult children, asking that You draw them close to Yourself. We trust in Your will being done in their lives, even in the unspoken areas. We praise You, Lord, and we give all glory to You, in Jesus Christ name we pray Amen
May the Word of God continue to guide and encourage us.
