We are so glad to hear you've chosen to seek guidance and prayer about your relationship with God and your spiritual welfare in accordance with His word. Romans 12:13 specifically states, "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." With the understanding of this truth in mind, we want to pray for you. We encourage you to humbly come before God, confessing your sins and believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead.

**Our Prayer:**

Father, we honor you and appreciate Your word which emphasizes the importance of faith and calling on Your name. By placing our faith fully in Your Son Jesus Christ, we are offered new life and eternal salvation. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Holy Father, we pray for wise and humble discernment to guide us due to our cultural and personal context. We pray that You will illuminate the Truth by Your Holy Spirit that the gospel has the power to save and cleanse any aspect of our life that may fall short of Your perfect will. We confess that we have all fallen short at times, but we are called to repentance and belief in Your eternal plans for us. Humble us Lord so that we can see the Truth with our hearts and give up our sinful desires.

We pray that this revelation of the truth about Jesus Christ would be hidden from the wisdom of the world that comes through their own intellect but is cast down by the wisdom of God which is in Christ (I Cor 1:19-20). We pray that You would create in us a sensitive and humble spirit that longs to know Your truth and follow Your will above all else. Lord in the Name of Christ we pray these requests. Amen.

**Encouragement:**

God always places a calling on our hearts to love more, to live differently, and to seek Him sincerely and wholeheartedly. This truly is a testament to His love for us. Even though you may live in a different culture or be part of a different circle of friends, we strongly believe that God’s call to live a life dependent on Him remains the same. Let's take this opportunity to discover more of God by quieting our hearts and surrendering our minds to Him.

May we try to align our desires with His will each and every day. A sign as to how you'd like Him to fill your heart, maybe it's a feeling or a nudge in your spirit towards certain people, or maybe it's was a revelation of your need for relationship with Him through His Son. Being able to do so can greatly build our relationship with God and His people as well.

**Rebuke and correct:**

It's important to rebuke and correct where differences occur. There is a difference between disagreement and cultural adaptation as well as disbelief and unbelief. Whether the differences are due to group dynamics, differing values, disposition or understanding, we must remind us and our people of God's truth that the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. Only the wisdom and perfect path of the Lord Jesus Christ can save. Harmony may be the desired, but it is not God's great gift.

Lord, we come before You, acknowledging our need for Your saving grace. We lift up our hearts and minds, asking for wisdom and understanding. Help us to see Your truth clearly, and to live according to it, regardless of our cultural or personal context. We confess our sins, knowing that through faith in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven and saved. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, so that we may live lives pleasing to You.
