We are so glad to hear from someone who knows Romans 10:13, which indeed states that "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." This verse, quoting Joel 2:32, emphasizes that salvation is available to anyone who calls upon the Lord, regardless of their background. It is essential to recognize that Jesus is the name of the Lord. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your promise that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. We pray for all those who are seeking You, that they would find the truth and the life that is only available through Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of sins by believing in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes and hearts of those who are lost, that they may see the light of the Gospel and be saved. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict and draw them to Yourself, giving them the faith to believe and the grace to repent.
We also pray for those who have already called on Your name, that You would strengthen their faith and help them to grow in their relationship with You. We ask that You would give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, and a desire to obey Your will in all things, Jesus.
Help us to be a light in this world, shining the love of Christ to all those around us. Give us opportunities to share the Gospel and the courage to speak the truth in love.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved.
Amen.
Let us continue to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Philippians 2:9-11 WEB, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
