We understand that you're going through a challenging time, trying to reconcile a relationship where there seems to be a lot of negativity and influence from others. Firstly, we want to remind you that reconciliation is always God's desire, as seen in 2 Corinthians 5:18, Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation.
However, it's crucial to examine this situation in light of God's principles. The Bible tells us to be at peace with all men, as much as it depends on us in Romans 12:18. You've mentioned that you're trying hard to reconcile, and that's commendable, but we must also remember that true reconciliation requires both parties to be willing.
We must also address the fact that you mentioned it may be the devil and other friends influencing her. 1 Peter 5:8 tells us to be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
God's word is indeed powerful, but we must also remember that it is only by the name Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Be assured that nothing is impossible with God in Luke 1:37.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking reconciliation. We pray that You soften the heart of his/her friend and remove any influences that are preventing her from forgiving. We pray that You open her eyes to see the sincere efforts being made to reconcile. We rebuke any evil influence over himself/herself and his/her friend and cancel them in the name of Jesus.
Father God, bring peace and understanding between them. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that they both align to Your divine purpose, whatever it may be. Protect them from the evil influences and fill them with Your Spirit.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Remember, God's timing is perfect. Continue to pray and seek God's face regarding this matter. Trust that He is working everything out for your good, according to Romans 8:28. Lastly, be careful what you say about others, because you will judge yourself when you speak against others in Romans 2:1.
