Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God desires us to be holy, as He is holy. He does not condone sex outside of or before marriage. We see in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB:
For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God.
Therefore, if you are not married to your girlfriend, we will pray that you both will commit to purity, abstaining from sexual immorality. This is an important step in aligning your relationship with biblical principles.
Next, we want to address the comparison with Gomer. While Hosea's story is a powerful illustration of God's unfailing love, we must remember that Gomer was Hosea's wife, not his girlfriend. The Bible teaches us that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman. In addition, you cannot ask God to make a pursuit of another man fail. Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Beliar? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
Therefore, we will pray to God that she will come to believe in Jesus Christ and that she will desire to be married instead of just dating. We also must be mindful of God's sovereignty. We cannot dictate to God what to do. Instead, we should ask for God's will to be done and for Him to guide you both according to His purpose.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear soul who is seeking reconciliation. Lord, we pray for his girlfriend, that You would draw her heart to Yours, and that You would work in her life according to Your will. We pray that both of them would commit to purity, abstaining from any sexual immorality, and that You have a marriage in your plan for them. Help them to come to you for wholeness to fill any void, loneliness or lostness they are feeling. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom in this situation. Lord Jesus, we know that You are the only way to the Father, and it is in Your name that we pray.
