We understand that you're anxious, but let's address this situation from a biblical perspective. First, we need to acknowledge that sexual intimacy outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is sinful according to the Bible. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, it says, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
However, God is forgiving and offers us grace when we turn from our sins. In 1 John 1:9-10 (WEB) we read: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
"If we say that we haven’t sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
We pray that you both take this as a learning experience to turn away from this sin and pursue purity until marriage. It's crucial to understand that true repentance involves turning away from the sin. Therefore avoid repeating this sin of fornication, as you pray for forgiveness, do not go back to it. In Matthew 4:17 (WEB) we read: "From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, 'Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.'"
In addition to praying for forgiveness, if your girlfriend is pregnant, we pray for God to grant you both the courage and wisdom to handle this situation responsibly. Life is precious and a gift from God. In Psalm 139:13-16 WEB we read: "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
