We understand that you're going through a difficult situation, but we want to address this delicately and with God's wisdom and scriptural principles. First, it's important to acknowledge that you've come to God for forgiveness, which is the right thing to do. As it says in 1 John 1:9 WEB If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
However, we need to address a couple of things. First, you mentioned that you do not want to be pregnant, but we must consider God's view on the sanctity of life. In Psalm 139:13-16 WEB, it says, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn't hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."
We should never seek an abortion or pray against a pregnancy as a pregnancy is a God given gift. God is sovereign, and He knows what's best for us even if we are not married. We must also consider that sexual relationships outside of marriage are not pleasing to God. This is called fornication or adultery if one of the participants is married. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, it says, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
It's also crucial to pray in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your forgiveness and guidance. We pray that you will help and guide our ### during this time. If she is pregnant, give her the strength to accept this gift from You. Let her know You are always there and that You are the only person who can give her hope, joy, and peace. Help her to trust in You and Your promises. Give her courage to make decisions that honor You. Help her to turn from any sin and to walk in Your ways. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
