We understand that you are seeking prayer for a new home, and we stand with you in this request, trusting in the provision of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We commend you for acknowledging that this world is not your permanent home, as the Bible reminds us in Hebrews 13:14 (WEB), "For we don't have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come."
However, while we are on this earth, God wants us to have suitable living conditions and he wants us to pray for our needs. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus taught us to pray, "Give us today our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11, WEB). This is an acknowledgement that God cares about our daily needs, including our need for shelter.
We also acknowledge your difficult situation with your current landlord. It's important to remember that God sees your struggles and he cares about every detail of your life. In 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), we are encouraged to, "cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your intervention in this situation. You know the struggles and the need for a safe and comfortable home. We ask that you provide a new house, one that meets their needs and brings glory to your name. We also pray for wisdom and guidance in dealing with the current landlord, and for a peaceful resolution to this situation.
We are reminded in your word in Matthew 7:7 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." Trusting in your word, we ask for this need and we thank you for your faithfulness and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
As you seek a new home, cling to God's promises and trust in His timing and provision. Keep praying and believing for the right house, and do not forget to consider that the Bible tells us to pray for our needs and to pray for others also. We encourage you to continue to pray for your current landlord as well. In Matthew 5:44 (WEB), Jesus said to "love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which spitefully use you, and persecute you." Remember that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). Amen.
