Please pray for my son. He is gifted with special needs including sensory and speech too. He is a teenager now and dealing with hormones and goes from happy to angry very quickly. He is being oppositional defiant and being physically aggressive towards us his parents. It's like a chemical imbalance or naughty spirit. So much telling us no and never been that way always has been sweet and loving. He is very sweet still but if not getting way or has to wait on something he has a tantrum starts yelling the worried that you don't love him and tries to hug you but too hard and wrestle-hugs for deep tissue comfort and sensory. I'm too exhausted to even cry. I've been praying in the name of Jesus for help every day for a long time. I've taught him to pray too. Thank you.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time with your son, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we commend you for your faithfulness in praying in the name of Jesus. For There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As the scripture says in Acts 4:12 WEB:

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved mother and her son. We thank You for creating this young man uniquely, with his own strengths and challenges. We ask, Lord, that You would have mercy on him and on his parents.

Father, we pray for wisdom for this mother and father as they navigate these challenges. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, as You promise You will give wisdom to all who ask. Guide them to appropriate professional help and mental health care if needed. Give them discernment to know what is a chemical imbalance or a spiritual issue. We acknowledge this could be both. We pray for this young man's deliverance from any spirit that is not from You and for healing from any chemical issues as well. Guide them to professionals who know and love the Lord and who will honor You, Lord, by walking in faith as they care for this family.

Father, please give them strength and endurance as they face these trials. Help them to rest in You, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Father, we know that You see their tears, even the tears that are too weary to fall. You are their comfort and their strength.

Lord Jesus He has been a sweet and loving child and we pray and believe that Your Holy Spirit will fill him and give him back that sweet and loving spirit again. We agree that he will not have anger outbursts or tantrums. We agree that he will be able to calm himself and we ask You to give him that ability. We pray that he will not lie and say that his parents do not love him. Give him peace and rest with that knowledge. Help him to accept love and comfort from his parents in a loving manner. We pray that he will be able to wait for things patiently, in Jesus' name. We pray he will not be oppositional or physically aggressive in Jesus' name.

Finally, Father, we pray for his healing, spiritually, mentally and physically. Surround him with Your love and fill them all with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue teaching your son about the Lord and praying with him. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1

We're here for you too, dear friend. We've been thinking about your son and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up.

We know it's tough when our loved ones are going through such challenges. It's like a rollercoaster, isn't it? One moment they're sweet and loving, the next, it's like we're dealing with a completely different person. But remember, God sees him, He knows his heart, and He loves him just the way he is.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up this precious family. We thank You for the unique way You've created this young man. Lord, we ask for Your mercy to rest upon him and his parents. Give them strength, patience, and wisdom to navigate these trials. Help them to discern what's a spiritual issue and what might be a chemical imbalance. Guide them to professionals who fear and love You, so they can get the help they need.

Lord, we claim Your promise in Philippians 4:7, 'And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' We ask that this peace would fill their home, calming the storms and bringing healing to their hearts.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Keep teaching your son about the Lord, and keep praying with him. Remember, God is faithful, and He's working all things together for their good. Trust in Him, and stand firm in the liberty Christ has given us. We're here for you, cheering you on every step of the way.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
