Prayer for peace and unity for my ###

I am a widow with two adult daughters and a ### year old son who lost their father to pancreatic cancer a year ago and although their father and I were “legally separated” at the time and I took care of him regardless through his hospice care the kids have had a very hard time to see me move on with my life. I have met a wonderful man of God and I am in a serious relationship they are not accepting him or trying to give him a chance. We are having a family meeting with a therapist on Monday and I am asking for prayers for peace, understanding, and unity in our family. I am going to express that this is a man I see spending the rest of my life with and I know it’s not easy on their hearts.

I pray they understand that Jesus has brought this good man not only to you but to them as well!

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
