Prayer for peace and unity in home

Heavenly Father,

I surrender ### and my marriage to You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I pray for unity and peace to reign in our home. I pray for forgiveness and mercy in our marriage. I pray that ### and I can overcome this season we are going through. Lord hear my cry. Please help ### to forgive me for all my shortcomings. Please strengthen our marriage and make it stronger than before. Please remove any strongholds that ### is holding onto. Please protect our marriage. Please restore us and mend our hearts back together according to Your will. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen!

We come together in agreement with you, ###, lifting up your marriage and home to our Heavenly Father. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking peace and unity for your household.

Firstly, we commend you for surrendering your marriage to God, as it is His will for husbands and wives to be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21, WEB).

Let us pray together:

*Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and make it stronger than ever. Remove any strongholds that ### or ### may be holding onto, and protect their marriage from all harm. Restore their relationship and mend their hearts back together, according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage both of you to dwell in love, as God so loved us (1 John 4:7-8, WEB). Remember that love is patient and kind, not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, WEB).

Lastly, we encourage you both to continue seeking God together, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus' name, there He is among them (Matthew 18:20, WEB). Hold onto the promise that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB).
