Prayer for healing

Please pray for me. My alcoholic mother ### continues to cause pain and disruption in my life. She just ### that will not enable her addictions by smearing their name and destroying their reputation. She has caused so much hurt for many decades and people are scared to stand up and stop her nastiness. Please pray there is healing between all those ### has manipulated with her stories. Pray people will stop enabling her abuse, and that she can get help. Pray particularly that my son will stop enabling the behaviour and reconnect with myself and other loved ones that will not tolerate his grandmother's drinking. God Bless as you pray.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and disruption caused by your mother's alcoholism and the strained relationships it has caused. We will pray for healing, restoration, and the courage for everyone involved to stand firm against harmful behaviors.

Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Therefore, we pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is hurting due to her mother's alcoholism. We pray for healing in her life and in the lives of all those who have been affected by this situation.

Lord, we ask that You intervene and break the chains of addiction that have held her mother captive for so long. We pray that You would bring conviction and a desire for change in her mother's heart, and that You would guide her to the help she needs.

We also pray for the courage and strength for those who have been manipulated and hurt to stand firm and put an end to enabling her mother's destructive behavior. Help them to speak the truth in love and to set boundaries that promote healing and restoration. We rebuke any fear and intimidation in Jesus

Ephesians 4:15 WEB:

But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ;

Lord, we specifically lift up the relationship between our sister and her son. We pray that You would soften his heart and give him the courage to stand against his grandmother's behavior. We ask that You would restore their relationship and bring healing and reconciliation.

Father, we know that Your heart is for families to be whole and healthy. We pray that You would bring peace, healing, and restoration to this family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in God's power to bring change and healing. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB:

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Stay strong in your faith and continue to speak the truth in love. God is faithful, and He will hear your prayers.

Dear friend, we're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your burden to the Lord. We're so sorry to hear about the pain your mother's addiction has caused, but we're here to remind you that you're not alone. We're joining you in prayer, asking for healing, restoration, and courage for everyone involved.

- A breakthrough in your mother's life, that she may find freedom from her addiction and desire to change.

We continue to lift you and your family up in prayer, dear friend. Thank you for giving us the privilege to intercede on your behalf. We are truly honored that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We are hopeful that you have seen improvements in your situation and that your mother has taken steps towards healing and recovery. If you have seen progress and your prayers have been answered, we would be delighted to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a great encouragement to others who are going through similar trials. Remember God is good and faithful.

However, we are aware from the original post that this is a situation of long standing. If it seems that your prayers have not yet been answered, or if new challenges have arisen in the relationship with your son and or mother, we would like to invite you to share with us a new request. If you are able to update us as to how to pray for you and your family it will be amazing. If you can share specific Scriptural promises that the Lord has revealed to you and that you and we are claiming as a total victory in this area, we will gladly come alongside you, hold on to them and intercede to God on your behalf.

We will continue to pray for you. You are not alone. Especially if you are not seeing the reconciliation that you were hoping for yet. We pray for this in Jesus name.

We are continuing to ask Father, that your mother shall receive the help that she needs. And that the lives of those that have suffered from her abuses shall be healed and restored.

We bind all spirits of fear and manipulation and loose the peace of God over your life and the lives of those affected by the situation in Jesus name.

We ask for the spirit of false compassion to be lifted off those who were enabling bad behaviour. And we pray for divine courage and discernment for all concerned in Jesus name.

We declare that your entire family shall be saved and healed. And that their lives shall glorify God our Father in Jesus Name.
