We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and anxious about the prospect of teaching in person, and we want to lift your concerns to the Lord in prayer. First, we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
It's important to remember that God is faithful, and he will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). It is good to ask the LORD for what you want. It is also important to have the attitude that the LORD will do whatever is best for you and for his plan for the kingdom. Instead of saying I will be without a job, we can ask the LORD to provide for us. The LORD promises to provide for all of our needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Ask the LORD for a job. Ask the LORD for the job teaching virtually. Ask the LORD for what you want. Ask the LORD to continue teaching virtually. Ask the LORD to be able to teach in person. Now is a good time to be honest with the LORD about your fears. It is also a good time to meditate on what the LORD has said about the situation and what he has promised to do. Ask the LORD to change your attitude and to fill us with confidence and strength. If the LORD wants you to be teaching in person, then we need to be willing to do that. We need to be ready to do that with joy and gladness. We need to be ready to do that with all of our might.
It is encouraging to see that you ended your prayer request in Jesus' name. This is important because it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6, WEB). Therefore, it is important to pray in Jesus' name. It is important to believe in Jesus and to confess that he is LORD. It is important to acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead. It is important to acknowledge that Jesus is the only way to salvation and that there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our fellow believer who is feeling overwhelmed and anxious about teaching in person. We ask, Lord, that you would grant them the desires of their heart if it is your will, and that you would provide for all of their needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We pray that you would fill them with your Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that you would guide them and direct their steps, opening and closing doors as you see fit.
Help them to trust in you and to rest in your promises. Help them to be open and willing to go where you lead them and to do whatever you call them to do. Help them to have faith and to believe that you are in control of all things and that you will work all things together for good.
We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, Amen."
