We understand your concern and desire to continue teaching virtually. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His will for your teaching career.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including your career. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a purpose for you in this season of your life.
However, we want to encourage you to consider God's will in all your decisions. It's important to remember that our primary calling as Christians is to serve God and others, and our careers are just one way we can do that. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking Your will for their teaching career. Lord, we understand that we are living in a world that is broken and may not go the way we expect it to. We ask that You give them the strength and endurance to face whatever challenges may come up in their career. Lord, we pray that Your will be done in their life and that You would guide them to where they should go in their future. Lord, we know that it is in Jesus' name that we should be asking for things, and we regret that the prayer request did not mention Jesus or the basic salvation message. But, Lord, we know that you know our hearts and our salvation status. And we pray for the salvation of those that do not know Jesus in this situation.
Lord, we pray for the virtual academies across the nation and state. We ask that You would expand them as You see fit, for the benefit of the students and teachers alike. We pray for the safety and well-being of the students, that they would grow and thrive in their education.
Lord, we also pray for the school district. We ask that You would guide them in their decisions regarding the virtual academy and job security for our fellow believer. We pray that You would open doors for them to continue teaching virtually if it is Your will.
Lord, we know we do not have because we do not ask. And in faith, believing, we ask for the following:
Lord, we pray that our fellow believer feels your presence and love for them. Lord, we pray that you would give them the desires of their heart if they delight themselves in You.
Finally, Lord, we pray that our fellow believer would ultimately desire Your will above all else and that they would trust in You with all their heart.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to trust in Him with all your heart. Remember that God is faithful and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5, "Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.'"
If you are not married, but wish to be, and teaching in the virtual academy helps you meet other Christians, then that is a good thing. If not, then you can trust God to use your remaining years as a teacher in whatever way He wants to prepare you for your future spouse.
