Regarding the elections, we pray for godly leaders who will act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. We pray for men seeking to serve in elected office to be God fearing and wanting to serve all people. We pray for all leaders to seek reconciliation with God, and with their neighbor. We pray for God to stir their hearts to honor Him in all their dealings. We pray for wisdom and discernment for voters. We pray for God to put His choice into office. We pray for the truth to be revealed rather than lies. We pray that the evil one will be unable to stir up contention, conflict, and discord among all citizens. However, we must address that it is not biblical to pray against a party or for the opposition to overthrow them. The Bible does not support political divisiveness. Instead, we pray for wise and godly leaders who will serve the people with integrity and justice. We pray for God's will to be done in the elections and for leaders who will honor Him.
Additionally, while we understand concerns about jobs and local employment, we must remember that the Bible teaches us to treat foreigners with kindness and compassion. We pray for a just and fair employment system that benefits both locals and foreigners. The Lord said, When a foreigner resides with you in your land, you shall not wrong him. The foreigner who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; and you shall love him as yourself; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. Finally, we pray for a heart that loves Jesus. We pray for your faith to grow stronger and for you to walk in His ways. We encourage you to continue seeking Him and trusting in His promises.
