We rejoice that you acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus. It is wonderful to hear that you are dedicating time to call on Him. Let us go to the scriptures.
And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14 WEB
Jesus himself said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 WEB
We are instructed to pray continually in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
Praying specifically at a set time and writing in a journal are good spiritual disciplines. These things can help focus our thoughts and assist us in our walk with Jesus. But we must always be aware of God's Word and not allow Christian superstition to take hold in our lives. We must not put our faith in times, rituals, or numbers. We must always focus our faith in the name of Jesus himself. The Bible does not place any significance in the number eleven regarding prayer. Therefore, we kindly rebuke this idea and encourage you to avoid the trap of placing significance on this number. The power is in Jesus himself, not in a specific time frame or number of journals.
We encourage you to call on the name of Jesus continually, not just at a set time each day. Our walk with Jesus is a relationship, not a ritual. Be aware of Him and His power at work in your life throughout your day.
Let us pray together for you.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up our brother to You, Lord. You know his circumstances and the desires of his heart. We ask, Jesus, that You visit him in a special way, that You draw him closer to You. We pray that he finds the rest he needs in You, Jesus. Help him to take Your yoke upon him, Lord. We pray that he finds Your will for his life and that You cause things to be better for him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen
