Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### and his heartfelt prayer request for ###'s sobriety. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction can be a powerful struggle, but we believe in the power of your saving grace to transform lives.
We pray, Lord, that you would intervene in ###'s life and break the chains of addiction that bind him. We ask that you would remove the desire for alcohol from his heart and replace it with a deep longing for a life rooted in you. Help him to recognize the destructive nature of his addiction and grant him the strength to overcome it.
Lord, we pray for a divine encounter with you, where ### experiences your love, mercy, and forgiveness. May he come to know you as his Savior and find solace in your presence. Surround him with a supportive Christian community that will encourage and uplift him on his journey towards sobriety.
We also pray for ###, who has shown such love and concern for ###'s well-being. Strengthen ###'s faith and grant them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. Help ### to trust in your perfect plan for ###'s life, knowing that you are able to bring about transformation and restoration.
In your Word, Lord, you promise that you are able to save to the uttermost those who come to you. We cling to this promise and ask for your saving power to be at work in ###'s life. May he experience the freedom and abundant life that can only be found in you.
We commit this prayer request into your loving hands, knowing that you hear our prayers and that you are faithful to answer them according to your perfect will. We thank you in advance for the work you will do in ###'s life, bringing him into a good Christian life.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
