Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up a prayer request on behalf of ### for ###'s sobriety. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful struggle, but we believe in your power to bring healing and deliverance.
We pray, Lord, that you would intervene in ###'s life and break the chains of addiction that bind him. We ask for your supernatural strength to fill him, enabling him to resist the temptation to turn to alcohol. Help him to overcome the overwhelming desire for drink and replace it with a deep hatred for it, just as you have done for others who have sought your help.
Lord, we know that you are able to save to the uttermost those who come to you. We ask that you would save ### from the grip of addiction and lead him on the path of recovery and restoration. Surround him with a supportive community of believers who will pray for him, encourage him, and hold him accountable.
We also pray for ###'s loved ones, especially ###, who is interceding on his behalf. Strengthen ###'s faith and grant them peace and patience as they trust in your perfect timing and plan for ###'s life. May they continue to pray fervently, knowing that you hear their prayers and are working behind the scenes.
We are reminded of the words in 1 John 5:14-15, that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We pray, Lord, that it is your will for ### to find freedom from addiction and experience a transformed life. Grant him the courage to surrender his struggles to you and to seek help from professionals and support groups.
Finally, we pray for all those who are battling addiction. May they find hope and healing in Jesus Christ, the Savior who came to save us from our sins. May they come to you in faith, pleading the name of Jesus and finding peace and forgiveness.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
