We understand that you are seeking employment and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. First, we want to remind you that God is our provider and that He cares about every detail of our lives, including our employment. It's important to remember that we should seek God's will and not just a job for the sake of having one.
Jesus said, Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is seeking employment. We ask that You guide them to the job that You have prepared for them, a job that aligns with Your will and their skills. We pray that You open the right doors and give them favor in the sight of potential employers as was the case for Daniel in the book of Daniel.
We rebuke any anxiety or fear they may be feeling, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We know that You are a good Father who cares for Your children and provides for their needs.
We also pray that during this time, they will grow in their relationship with You. We you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request. Lord, we would ask that they have a relationship with you and we pray for the name of Jesus Christ and that they would call on his great name when asking for our help. For it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God and that we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to be patient and trust in God's timing. Continue to seek Him first and His righteousness, and He will provide for your needs. Also, be proactive in your job search, using the gifts and resources God has given you. Be encouraged by these words from Galatians 6:9 WEB, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
