We understand that you are seeking employment and we are here to pray with you and encourage you in this process. Firstly, we must acknowledge that it is so important to acknowledge the source of all blessings, including employment. Jesus teaches us, I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 WEB
Firstly, we must pray in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we can approach God the Father. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved individual who is seeking employment. We know Your Word says in Matthew 7:7 WEB, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you, and in Matthew 21:22 WEB, All things whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive. We ask by Your Word that You give Jesus the glory through this request as the giver of every good gift and the provider of every need.
We pray that You open the right doors and provide a job, one that aligns with Your will and purpose. Give them an opportunity that allows them to use their skills and talents, even more we pray for a job that advances Your kingdom. We pray for a job that honors them as a representative of Jesus and that their coworkers inquire about the hope that lives within them. We pray for a job that gives them the ability to support themselves and contribute to the needs of others, including family, friends, and the church. Grant them favor in the eyes of potential employers, and give them the wisdom to make good decisions.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB. Trust in His timing and His ways, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Do not leave Jesus out of the process, He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB
While waiting, continue to seek God's will and be open to opportunities He may bring your way. Also, consider how you can be a blessing to others in your current circumstances, as God often works through us to meet the needs of others.
Finally, if you do not know Jesus as your savior, one who died on the cross for your sins, who rose from the dead to offer you redemption, please consider His offer of salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31
