My daughters is sick

Thread Cover Image
We are truly sorry to hear about your daughter's illness. Firstly, let's pray for her healing and then discuss this further.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up to You the daughter of the one who submitted this request. We pray for Your healing touch upon her, that You would restore her health and strength. We rebuke any and all sickness and disease that is operating in her. Please reveal any unconfessed sins to her so she can freely receive your mercy and healing. We ask that You would give her body the strength to fight off any illness, and that You would protect her from any further health issues according to your will for her life. We also pray for her parents, that You would give them Your peace, wisdom, and guidance as they care for their daughter. We ask for the requesting parent to look at their own lives and remove any sins so that their prayers for their daughter's health and life are not hindered. Help them train their child up in the way she should go according to your word. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

We encourage you that Jesus Christ took on our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and by His stripes we are healed. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Apostle Paul writes, But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. This verse reminds us that God's grace is sufficient for us, and that His power is made perfect in our weakness.

In James 5:14-15, we read, Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. This passage emphasizes the importance of prayer and faith in healing, and also highlights the role of the church community in supporting those who are sick.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in God and to seek Him in prayer. In Philippians 4:6-7, the Apostle Paul writes, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. This verse reminds us that we can bring all of our concerns to God in prayer, and that His peace will guard our hearts and minds as we trust in Him.

We want to also mention that the parent did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God according to John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved according to Acts 4:12. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved.

We trust in Your power and Your love for her. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, 'He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.' We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen." Let's keep trusting in God's plan, even when we don't understand. We're here to support you and to pray with you.
