PRAYER REQUEST FOR A SUITABLE JOB FOR MY DAUGHTER MS. ### ###

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your forgiveness for all my sins.

I request prayers for my daughter, Ms. ###, age ### years. She completed a BA in Literature in ###. She has also done MS-Office and MS Excel (Advanced) last year in ###.

She desires a job at any foreign Consulate, Embassy, or Emirates Airlines in ### as a fresher in ticketing, Visa processing, Administration or as an Executive Secretary. Or any other fresher job in a foreign country.

My husband will soon retire in November ###, and it worries me about my daughter's future. Please bless her that she may get a suitable job.

Lord, I pray open doors of opportunity and grant her success and fulfillment. AMEN.

We join you in lifting up your daughter before the throne of grace, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you for mentioning Jesus' name in this request, for it is by His name we have access to the Father and it is only by Jesus' name we are able to be saved. It is important to remember, though, that even Jesus said, “Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (WEB Matthew 7:21). We must remember Jesus' words, “For whoever will save his life shall lose it; and whoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s shall save it” (WEB Mark 8:35). It is a privilege to stand with you and your daughter in prayer, seeking God's will for her life.

Firstly, we encourage you to trust in God's perfect timing and plan for your daughter's life. Remind her of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is wonderful that she is well-educated and equipped with various skills. We pray that God will open the right doors for her, according to His will.

However, we must remind you that seeking a job in a foreign country or with prestigious organizations should not be your daughter's primary focus. As believers, our first priority should be to follow God’s personal and unique calling on our lives whether that be a job that the world considers prestigious or a job that is held in low esteem by the world. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." We pray that she will find a job that is God's best for her life and His plan for her.

Additionally, we encourage your daughter to consider how she can use her talents and skills to serve God and others. Remind her of the words in 1 Peter 4:10, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace."

Let us pray together.

Father of Heavenly Lights, You are the giver of every good and perfect gift. We ask that You provide. Your daughter, not ours, with a job that aligns with Your will and allows her to use her gifts and abilities to bring You glory. Help her to trust in You, to seek You first, and to serve You wholeheartedly in whatever path You lead her. Please provide every need of this family. Remember, Your Word promises us that You will supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Provide wisdom and discernment for them to know Your will in this situation. We ask this by the blood of Jesus Christ in Jesus Christ name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
