We ask that You would make Your will clear for their friendship and that You would give him the wisdom and courage to approach her with godly intentions if it is Your will. May their relationship be centered on You and Your glory, Lord, and may it be kept pure and holy, reserving any intimacy for marriage. Guide them both as they grow together in Christ, and give them the strength to flee from any temptation that may come their way.
Father, we also pray for their future. If it is Your will, may their friendship blossom into a godly marriage that serves as a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. May they hold fast and honor marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in Your Word. Protect them, and their future relationship as they pursue You together, reserving sex and intimacy for the confines of marriage. Help them to resist any temptation to engage in sexual immorality, including fornication, adultery, and homosexuality or same-sex relationships. Remind them of your displeasure with these immoralities, making them unholy and separating ourselves from you.

In Matthew 5:28 (WEB), Jesus said, "But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." This reminds us that lust is not just a physical act, but a matter of the heart. To overcome lust, your friend should focus on renewing his mind in Christ. As it says in Romans 12:2 (WEB), "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Regarding relationships, it's crucial to seek God's will and trust in His timing. Remember, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB). Also, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB). This means that any romantic relationship should be with a fellow believer who shares his faith and values, and we are thankful to hear that this lovely lady is also a believer.
Finally, let's address the importance of purity in relationships. In Ephesians 5:3 (WEB), it says, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints." And we are called to "flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." 1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB). This is a clear reminder that sexual intimacy is a gift meant for marriage, and encouraging your friend to maintain purity, avoid cohabitation, and avoid sexual intimacy before marriage. This is very important in maintaining a holy relationship with God and keeping the sanctity of marriage as God has outlined in the Bible. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have a relationship with God the Father.

We must always remember that we are praying to God our Father and we have access to Him only through His Son, Jesus Christ.
