Faithful Servant
I need physical healing and financial help. I have been using methadone for 10 years and I tried to quit using it a couple of months ago, but I failed and spent my savings in the process (about $3K ) I am collecting unemployment, but the state cut my pay in half when I received my extension. So it looks like I'm going to have go back to work. I have no family members that can help. Fortunately, I have electrical & control wiring skills, and there is work for me. But I have physical limitations, mostly knee problems (I lost weight and that helps, but I find it difficult to walk even 1 or 2 blocks; Plus I'm 62) The sad thing is that $3000 I lost was going to be used to buy a car & move to a cheaper apartment, where I would be closer to my niece. But what I really want is a couple of acres of land for a small homestead where I will build a small cabin for retirement. But the methadone has kept me in this work-rent-debt-slave cycle for 10 years. I end up increasing the medication so I can keep up with my work.
Lord, Weshia needs Your help,
Save now, I pray, O Lord;O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.
β Psalm 118:25β26
Gracious and generous God, You are the Giver of all good gifts. You know my needs before I bring them to You. And You who have faithfully βcarried [me] from the wombβ promise to continue to carry me and deliver me through any problems I may encounter. Right now, Lord, I ask for deliverance from difficult financial issues that You are well aware of. Lord, I know that this apparently impossible situation is not impossible for You, that You are sovereign and wise and good, so I ask You for wisdom and to deliver me β and to You be all the glory! Deliver me, I pray, that I may faithfully serve You in all things.
Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise.
Our faith is in You Lord to be his
Shepherd to provide and care for.
Amen
