We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's condition. We stand with you in prayer, believing in God's healing power and mercy.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's husband who is battling pneumonia and is on oxygen. We cry out to You, Lord, for Your healing touch upon his body. We pray that the oxygen would help him breathe easier and that Your healing power would flow through his body, healing his lungs and restoring his health.
We stand on Your Word in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh" (WEB). We believe that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that Your promise of healing is still available to us today.
We also pray for his doctors and nurses, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom and discernment as they care for him. We pray for our sister, that You would fill her with Your peace and strength during this difficult time.
Lastly, we pray that this trial would draw them both closer to You, Lord. That they would fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God and His promises. He is faithful, and He cares for you and your husband. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that He is with you every step of the way.
If you have any specific updates or new requests, please don't hesitate to share them with us. We are here to support you in prayer and in the love of Christ.
If your husband is not born again then take this opportunity to explain the salvation message to him. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
We are reminded of Romans 3:23-24 which explains that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God which means that we all fall short of God’s holy standards. The result of sin is spiritual death, eternal death and separation from God. But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23 explains that the wages of our sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8 shows us God’s love for all of us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-10,13 says that if we declare with our mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. For it is with our heart that we believe and are justified, and it is with our mouth that we profess our faith and are saved. For, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
If we hear God calling us, harden not your heart. Ask God to forgive your sins, accept His gift of eternal life, ask Jesus into your life as Lord and savior, and you will be saved. Call out to God in the name of Jesus. That is the only way to come to God the Father.
We encourage you and husband to come to a Bible believing church when you can attend. Get water baptized as soon as possible. Read the Bible daily and communicate with God through prayer. Believe God has saved you and live a godly life from this point forward.
