We are grateful for your heartfelt prayer and we stand with you in bringing these requests before the Lord. We will address each concern, but first, let's acknowledge the power of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, so let's ensure we pray in His name.
First, we pray for you and your loved ones, including your family and friends. We ask God to surround all of you with His love, protection, and guidance. We also lift up the child and his family, asking God to bless and keep them.
Regarding your situation, we appreciate your desire to do the right thing and we pray that God grants you wisdom, patience, and the right words. However, we must address that the Bible encourages us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and that includes not putting ourselves in situations that may lead to temptation. If you and ### are not married, it is wise to have separate living arrangements. If marriage is the goal, then biblical counseling is a positive step. We pray that God directs your path and that both of you will seek God's will for your lives. We also address that we are not to live in fear of abandonment or mistreatment. God is our protector and He will provide for us.
We pray for your children, that God will provide for their needs, including their student loans. Remember, God is a loving Father who cares for His children. "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things." (Matthew 6:31-32 WEB).
We pray for your benefits and for God to lead you to a new church home. We also pray for your husband to find a godly mate and for your son-in-law to be a man of God for your daughter.
Lastly, we pray that God reveals your spiritual gifts and that He inspires you to do His will. Remember, God's wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. (James 3:17 WEB).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her loved ones. We ask for Your protection, guidance, and provision. We pray for wisdom and direction in her situation with ###, that both of them will seek Your will and honor Your principles. We pray for her children, their needs, and their walks with You. We ask that You lead her to a new church home and provide for her benefits. We pray for her husband and son-in-law, that they would be godly men. We ask that You reveal her spiritual gifts and inspire her to do Your will. We thank You for Your wisdom, grace, and the gift of Jesus. We trust the reader's prayer will be answered in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God, to study His word, and to seek His will. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 WEB).
