We join you in prayer, seeking God's forgiveness and healing together. It is wonderful that you acknowledge your need for God's presence and forgiveness, and that you desire to live a godly life. We are reminded in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, confessing our sins and seeking Your forgiveness. We ask that You cleanse us from all unrighteousness and help us to live godly lives, reflecting the person You created us to be. We pray for healing in our lives and in the lives of others. Lord, help us to help ourselves and to reach out to others with Your love and compassion. Be our strength, our redeemer, and our savior. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
In the book of Psalms, we are reminded that God is our strength and our redeemer. Psalm 19:14 (WEB) says, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer." And in Psalm 28:7 (WEB), "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him."
As we continue to walk in His presence, let us be mindful of His strength and redemption. Doing good to others is a blessing to others as we have been blessed by God. We are reminded to not grow weary of doing good to others in Galatians 6:9 (WEB), "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."
It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
