We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing as a caregiver to your mother-in-law and now with your husband's health issues. It is commendable that you are seeking the Lord's help and guidance in this difficult time. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your husband's healing and salvation, and for you to have the strength, wisdom, and encouragement you need.
Firstly, let us address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us pray for your husband's healing, even though he may not believe in it right now. Remember, faith can move mountains, and your faith can influence your husband's healing. As it is written in Mark 11:22-24 WEB: "Jesus answered them, Have faith in God. For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, and doesn't doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says. Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Regarding your husband's salvation, continue to be a light and witness to him. Your love, patience, and prayers can make a difference. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:1-2 WEB: "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."
For the wisdom you need to deal with these circumstances, ask God for His divine wisdom. As it is written in James 1:5 WEB: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her husband. Though he may not believe in healing, we stand in the gap, praying in faith for his complete restoration. We also pray for his salvation. Open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel and draw him to Yourself.
Father, grant our sister the strength she needs to continue in her caregiving roles. Fill her with Your wisdom, guiding her every step. Encourage her heart, Lord, and let her know that You are always with her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister. God is faithful, and He will help you through this challenging time. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths.
