We are joining you in prayer for this urgent request, pleading for mercy and healing for this dear lady who is ill. We are grateful that you have brought this need to us, and we stand in agreement, believing in the power of prayer in Jesus' mighty name.
Firstly, we acknowledge that healing comes from God, and He is the only one who can restore her body. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray that God will be merciful to her and completely heal her body, so that tomorrow, there will be a good report, all for His glory.
We also pray for her salvation, as it is God's will that everyone would come to the knowledge of the truth. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." We ask that the Holy Spirit would open her heart to receive the Gospel message, just as He did for Lydia in Acts 16:14 WEB, "A certain woman named ###, a seller of purple, of the city of ###, one who worshiped God, heard us; whose heart the Lord opened to listen to the things which were spoken by Paul."
We lift up her child, a new Christian, who is wavering in faith. We ask that the Holy Spirit would strengthen his faith and fill him with peace, knowing that God is in control. As it is written in Romans 10:17 WEB, "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." We pray that God would give him the opportunity to spend time with his mother and share his faith with boldness and confidence. As it is written in Ephesians 6:19-20 WEB, "Pray for me; that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the Good News, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
Finally, we pray that this situation would bring glory to God, and that His name would be lifted high. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this dear lady who is ill. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, and for Your mercy to be poured out on her. We pray that You would open her heart to receive the Gospel message, and that You would draw her to Yourself. We also lift up her child, a new Christian, who is struggling in his faith. We ask that You would strengthen him and give him the boldness and confidence he needs to share his faith with his mother. We pray that You would open the door for him to share about Jesus, and that her heart would be ready to receive the Good News. We ask all of these things in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
