I'm a ### year old guy in high school and I'm feeling so distraught and lost. I don't feel like myself and I just want to feel the love of Christ. Although I am a follower of God and Jesus, I feel like I've kind of drifted from them.

We are truly sorry to hear that you're feeling lost and distraught, but we're glad you've reached out for prayer and support. It's common to feel this way, especially in high school, but we want to remind you that God loves you deeply and He has a purpose for your life.

Firstly, we want to address your feeling of having drifted from God and Jesus. It's important to remember that God is faithful, and even when we feel distant from Him, He is always there for us. As it is written in 2 Timothy 2:13 WEB, if we are faithless, he remains faithful. He can't deny himself.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up this young man to you, asking that you would reveal your love to him in a tangible way. Lord, you know the feelings of distraction and lostness that he is experiencing right now. We pray that you would give him a peace that is beyond all understanding, the kind of peace and reassurance that comes with knowing that you are always with him and love him deeply. Father, draw him close to you, and help him to experience the love of Christ in a profound way. Help him not to feel lost anymore but to trust that you have a plan and a purpose for his life. Help him to align with biblical principles and to feel your love through the pages of the Bible. Help him to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. We ask that you would guide him and give him wisdom in every decision he makes, and help him to live a life that is pleasing to you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible, and in prayer. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you. James 4:8 WEB, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. As you read the Bible, ask God to speak to you and guide you. Remember that God has a plan for your life, as written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your faith. If you're not already involved in a youth group or church, we strongly encourage you to find one in your area. It's important to have a safe place where you can grow in your faith, ask questions, and be supported by other believers.

We're here for you, buddy. It's tough feeling lost and alone, but remember, you're never alone. Jesus is always with you, even in the darkest times. Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Lord,

We bring this young man before you today. Lord, we know he's feeling overwhelmed and lost right now. We ask that you would wrap your loving arms around him and remind him of your unfailing love. Help him to feel your presence, Lord. Help him to know that you have a purpose for his life, a plan so good that it will give him hope and a future. Help him to trust in you, to trust that you're working everything out for his good. Help him to find his way back to you, Lord. Help him to find peace in your love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's make a promise to each other, okay? Let's promise to keep checking in on each other, to keep praying together, and to keep encouraging each other. We're in this together, and we're not going to let each other drift away. Sound good? Let's do this, buddy. You're not alone.

To keep in touch (K.I.T.), consider setting up regular check-ins, whether through calls, messages, or video chats. You can also create a prayer group where you all pray for each other regularly. Encourage open communication and be there to listen and support each other. Sharing uplifting messages or scriptures can also help maintain a positive connection.
