We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap. We've heard your heart's cry for forgiveness, and we're echoing it in our own hearts. In Jesus' name, we lift this prayer to our Heavenly Father:
"Lord, we come to You, seeking Your mercy and grace. We thank You that You are a forgiving God, slow to anger and abounding in love (Psalm 103:8). We believe that as we confess our sins, You are faithful to forgive us, just as You promised (1 John 1:9). So, we lay down our burdens at the foot of the cross, trusting in Jesus' finished work.
Lord, help us to walk in the light of Your forgiveness. Give us the strength to turn away from sin and to live a life that pleases You. Guide our steps, Lord, and lead us in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We're reminded of the scripture that says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:17). Let's embrace this newness, dear one, and walk in the freedom that comes from knowing we are forgiven and loved by God.
